We had a fantastic experience thanks to Kaley at the reception. She went above and beyond to assist us with our issues in room 2311, ensuring we had a seamless stay.

Completely gone down hill. This place used to be vibrant and buzzing. We're not made aware the spa had closed. Standard food, room was ok but bedding dirty, dated furniture. Ent for breakfast. Had 1 setver on her own who was loveky and did well to serve everyone but she needed help. Won't be returning and wouldn't recommend.

Spent one rather uncomfortable night here which was only rescued by a first class dinner and breakfast at Marco Pierre White's. Our room on the twenty fourth floor had spectacular views was spacious and the bathroom was good. On the other side of the coin it was tired and featured the most uncomfortable bed and hardest pillows imaginable. Unbelievably our wardrobe contained just two coat hangers - when we queried this with Reception we were assured that was standard practice for the hotel. Lighting in the room was inadequate in our view. Certainly not a four star experience and not worth what we paid.

I booked a 1 night stay as a belated Valentine's Day treat. It wasn't a treat at all, it was the opposite. We were on the 24th floor with the bar directly above us and they had a live band playing until after midnight. The bass and drums were so loud they were rattling the glasses on the desk. The heat was jammed on at 22 degrees . We couldn't turn it down or off. There was black mold in the shower, chipped paint in the bedroom and the wardrobes were missing their brass trim, which had been replaced by gluing into place gift wrapping ribbon. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Also, the mirror. Over the desk was so high that you couldn't see enough to sit and dry your hair

The location of this hotel is great with fabulous views of the city… However, the bathrooms smell like drains, the rooms are generally quite dark, it needs some more lights especially near the dressing table and for somewhere with a lovley restaurant the bar closes very early.. For the price it’s really not worth it. Such a shame as rooms are well styled with good quality toiletries and good amenities
